Surviving the School Game
John
Alston is in demand as a presenter of programs to both, adults
and youth throughout the United States and Canada. John says, "It's
a different world today, some get it, some don't." So many
things have changed, yet in spite of the changes, there are
challenges that remain the same for all young people, regardless
of the era in which they live. Adolescents are challenged by
their own growth spurts, hormones going wild, and the demands
of peer and parent pressure. Somewhere personal responsibility
must be integrated in the equation of living well, doing well
and being a young person of integrity.
In
this CD program school assembly program, recorded live, with
students of all stripes, John Alston, offers humor with a message
and a perspective essential for getting over the rough spots.
An educator before launching his own training and development
company, in 1977, he's served as a full time administrative

as, Coordinator of Curriculum and Staff Development in the

in Counseling Psychology from California State University
